About Andreea Raicu
Andreea's relationship with clothes started early.
From a young age, she enjoyed creating, and alongside her grandmother, who was a seamstress, she discovered the joy of transforming ideas into real pieces. That's where this connection with clothes truly began.
Over time, fashion became a part of her life in different ways. First as a model, then as a TV presenter, and later, out of a desire to express herself more authentically, she began creating the clothes she wore with designer Irina Schrotter for shows and events during her time in television.
It was a natural process that led to the role of creative director for the Andreea Raicu line, which, over time, transformed in 2022 into what is today AMALIN.
AMALIN is a natural extension of this journey — after more than two decades spent in constant dialogue with women and years dedicated to personal development.
Together with her team, Andreea built a brand that reflects a simple belief: beauty, femininity, and elegance do not come from the outside but already exist within every woman.
"All my life I've worn a lot of clothes — from the simplest to the most spectacular. And, although some looked superb, many times I could barely wait to get home and take them off. We, women, are willing to make many sacrifices to look good. But the truth is that a woman who feels relaxed and comfortable in the clothes she wears is, in fact, the most beautiful. And then I told myself that if I ever create clothes, they will be clothes in which you feel good — relaxed, comfortable, and, at the same time, beautiful."
This idea is at the core of AMALIN. A brand that doesn't change the woman, but helps her feel closer to herself.
